Large, strategically positioned foam pads give the Aksium Gradient optimum cushioning to minimize fatigue from road vibrations and maximize comfort on longer rides. The first of these pads, made from 2mm-thick foam, is placed over the metacarpal area, while the second, made from 3mm-thick gel, is positioned to protect the ulnar nerve and avoid any pressure points.
