Maxxis Rekon Race 60 Tpi 29´´ X 2.25 Rigid Mtb Tyre. Unleash your speed with the Maxxis Rekon Race, a semi-slick XC tire engineered for the win. Featuring the lowest profile tread in the Maxxis XC lineup, it offers minimal rolling resistance for ultimate velocity on dry trails and short track courses. This 29x2.25” tire is built with a durable 60 TPI casing and EXO sidewall protection to defend against punctures. The dual compound balances straight-line speed with cornering grip, while Tubeless Ready tech and Wide Trail optimization for modern rims ensure peak performance when every second counts. This is a quiet and fast-rolling tire praised for its excellent price-to-quality ratio. It offers good grip, particularly on dry ground, and its flexible design handles ground imperfections well for a smoother ride. While noted for potential durability, some find the tread lower than pictured and the 29x2.10 sizing may not meet all expectations. The Maxxis Rekon Race is a semi-slick XC race t
