Common in Brazil and Cuba the colourful Meinl Caxixi will add character to your performance. This percussive instrument is fun and easy to use and adds an extra dimension to any ensemble or group. Crafted from rattan with a coconut bottom you can expect to hear a crystal clear sound with excellent projection. Its unique construction also allows you to achieve a variety of sounds. Simply vary the angle you hold it to determine whether the contents strike the reed basket (softer sound) or the hard bottom (louder sharper sound).
