The Blue Ice Firecrest 38L is a versatile mountaineering backpack designed for long days in the mountains and quick transitions: winter climbing, a spring ski tour, or a summer rock route. Weighing 965 g, it offers 38 liters of capacity, a hybrid carry system with a padded hip belt, and a zippered side access that lets you grab your gear without emptying the whole pack. The included quick ski carry kit lets you carry skis in an A-frame or diagonal configuration, the removable avalanche pocket holds rescue gear, and two upgraded ice axe loops round out the package. Made from high-tenacity 210D nylon that is PFC-free and bluesign® certified, it prioritizes low weight and speed over intensive use on highly abrasive surfaces. 38 liters and 965 g for a full day of mountaineering, ski touring, and rock climbing The Firecrest 38L is the pack you choose when the terrain changes throughout your day in the mountains: cramponing uphill, switching to skis, then tackling a ridge or rock route.
