Muso Rosso Primitivo di Manduria 2023 - Tagaro

Among the myriad picturesque scenes that the expansive Apulia offers, one is undoubtedly the Itria Valley, the "trulloshire," with its charming villages, local traditions, and natural splendour. We find ourselves in a strip of land in the heart of Apulia, which stretches towards the sea at a distance of approximately twenty minutes. Here, the quaint stone houses shaped like inverted cones emerge as if we were in a fairy-tale landscape with gnomes and elves hiding among farms and olive groves that extend as far as the eye can see. However, they are not mere decoration nor postcards designed for visitors; they are rural architecture born out of necessity, from the agricultural life of entire generations. In this setting operates Masseria Tagaro, a winery situated in the heart of Puglia that perceives wine as a direct extension of the landscape. There is no artifice or desire to reinterpret the territory, but rather a quite faithful reading of what the climate and land dictate each year
