North Uist Downpour Sloe & Bramble Flavoured Gin

SCOTTISH GIN DISTILLERY OF THE YEAR 2022 & 2023 GO SLOE - Delicious Sloe berries & Uist brambles are added to Downpour Scottish Dry Gin, all aged in bourbon casks for an unmistakable finish that delivers complex & rich fruity flavours. HOW IT'S MADE - A slow sloe gin. The base is our original Downpour Dry gin which we age in bourbon whiskey casks. We soak the sloes for a long time allowing the stone to give almond/marzipan notes. Each batch is named after the area of the island that the brambles are from. TASTING NOTES - Rich fruit cake flavours. The ageing in bourbon casks adds vanilla notes. Less sweet than a traditional sloe gin so can be paired with a mixer or sipped neat.
