[APPLICATION TYPE] The colour coded white oil selective absorbents will absorb hydrocarbons (oils and fuels) but they will not absorb water which makes them ideal for taking oil off water or dealing with land-based spills in the rain. The white colour helps you easily see the product is working when, for example, you are dealing with spills on water. [FORMAT] Socks are ideal to use proactively around the base of a leaking plant or machinery to contain and absorb the liquid and stop it spreading and becoming a slip hazard or damaging the local environment. They can also be used as part of your spill response measures to contain and absorb liquid spilt accidentally. [HAZARD SOLUTION] Socks - leaks from machinery that run into walkways, spills from over full drip trays, spills and leaks in labs and test facilities, leaking drums and IBCs, leaks and spills at fuel pumps.
