These are single coil that are machine wound and calibrated with a magnetic field to produce twice the output inductance of a normal single coil, giving each set of pickups their own style. Each pickup is designed for a specific position to match the increasing width between the strings and produce the ideal power for that position. This particular winding has the added advantage of keeping the ohm value about the same as an old-style wound single coil. All pickups are wax sealed to reduce unwanted noise. The flat pole piece and base mean these pickups are suitable for both left-handed and right-handed guitars. Supplied with screws and springs for fixing. All coils are wax sealed.
