This consists of a 20 x 16-inch bass drum, 10 x 7-inch and 12 x 8-inch toms, a 14 x 14-inch floor tom and a 14 x 5.5-inch snare drum. All shells are made of 9 plies of poplar which have been securely glued together, to create a warm sound, The bearing edges that the drumheads rest on have a 45-degree angle, which helps optimise the sound and makes the drumheads easier to tune.
