Remarkably it is now the family's 26th generation that has taken over the reigns- there can be very few wineries in the World that can make that kind of claim. Probably most famous for their range of Chianti wines from Northern Italy which we showcase on the site, they also have well established wineries further South around Orvieto; more centrally near Montalcino and on the West Coast near Bolgheri.Tasting NotesAs you would expect from the house of Antinori this is an exceptional well made red wine. An intense nose full of red currants, cherry and spice is perfectly followed by a savoury palate full of gentle tannins and structure. There's just a touch of roasted oak in the back palate just to round everything off as well.
