Petit Chablis 2023 - Domaine Passy le Clou - Famille Descombe

Made from a selective harvest and production, this Petit Chablis took us by surprise with its quality and complexity for a domaine thats only just been taken over by the Descombes family in 2013. Ageing for 10-12 months in barrels gives it toast notes on the nose and the palate. On the nose, it has great aromatic richness over citrus flavours and with a mineral framework. The attack is sharp and fresh, accentuating the lemon and grapefruit notes, all balanced out with a really lovely long finish. A Petit Chablis of formidable complexity and freshness! It will definitely find a place as an aperitif or to partner a seafood platter!
