The waffle iron is great if you want to bake a few waffles over an open fire. Just be careful that with prolonged use the handle doesn’t start to glow slowly. I highly recommend this product. When using it, I suggest using more oil than usual.

A must-have for every camper... naturally the cast‑iron part does weigh a bit, but it was worth it. Quality, as always, superb! You can use it over an open fire – or (as we do) on the camping grill (even Petromax).

I tested the waffle iron in the kitchen on the gas stove. It works well. Unfortunately I can’t use the turn‑over holder on my gas stove.
