The SMARTDOOR™ door connects to the smartphone and enables remote management of door opening and closing, via the PetSafe® app. Thanks to the app, it's also possible to set programs based on the schedule, but also on each pet: the door can unlock for the cat at night, but remain locked for the dog, for example. Notifications can be activated on the smartphone or connected watch, alerting you in real time to the animal's comings and goings, battery life, etc. For added security, the flap is equipped with several closing points and is tinted to obstruct the view into the home. A gasket around the flap limits heat loss. Selective entry authorizes access only to dogs and cats wearing the medallion; one medallion is included in the basic kit, additional medallions can be purchased separately.
