Powerful Twist on 1947 Bombay | Based on an old Bombay recipe, handwritten on a fragment of paper dated 17 July 1947. Kept as a family secret for over 66 years, it only resurfaced in 2013 when we began distilling at Summerhall. Our Navy Strength release was originally bottled for The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo in honour of which it retains its delightful ‘bearskin’ hat. Our home, after which our distillery is named -Summerhall- is in the heart of Edinburgh on the site of the former University of Edinburgh Veterinary School, where our founders built from scratch our award winning distillery in the old dog kennels.
