They have replaced standard latex with TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane), a latest generation material that combines the same speed and puncture protection qualities of latex with a significant weight reduction.The tread and profile of the P ZERO Velo Tub are designed in accordance with Pirelli's extensive motorsport experience: the spoke design has a narrow angle in the centre of the tread to ensure even wear and progressive feedback, while the wider side angles provide solid behaviour and responsiveness at maximum lean angle.
