Made from premium grade PTFE material, it creates a practical barrier between the heat press platen and your sublimation paper or vinyl, helping to keep the platen in good condition and reducing residual build-up of glue and ink. During the heat transfer process, the sheet helps ensure heat is evenly distributed. It can also be a useful safeguard in busy working periods; if vinyl or sublimation paper is placed the wrong way up, the PTFE sheet can be removed or replaced so you can continue pressing without the difficult task of cleaning the platen.
