The POC Octal X MIPS helmet is an evolution of the award-winning Octal, adapting it to the needs of Gravel and Cyclocross riders. With an enlarged shell covering more of the helmet liner, it benefits from improved strength properties at a much reduced weight. Features shared with the Octal include extreme ventilation, aerodynamic efficiency, a unibody shell construction and EPS liner, as well as POC's aramid bridge technology for additional strength and penetration protection. All of these features are inherited from POC's focus on designing and building full-face helmets to offer superior levels of comfort, fit and performance.
