For installing sockets, hanging small pictures or other items that need to be mounted horizontally.

Feels cheap. Unsightly seam right across the top. I wanted one for a long time and was disappointed. Milwaukee makes an equivalent product that costs less and seems to be made out of aluminum, not plastic like this stabila.
