L I M I T E D E D I T I O N I S L A Y S I N G L E M A L T Port Askaig 15-Year-Old Islay Single Malt is part of the second release from Port Askaig’s annual series; this release is made from just 30 casks sourced from a distillery on the north coast of Islay; this edition has been matured for a minimum of 15 years in traditional refill hogshead casks, resulting in an elegant and characterful whisky N O T E S O F T O A S T E D V A N I L L A, S E A S A L T A N D S W E E T S M O K E: This bottling opens with notes of toasted vanilla, fragrant honeysuckle, and citrusy sea salt, all intertwined with sweet peated smoke on the nose; on the palate, there are rich notes of brown sugar and tobacco with a hint of floral lemongrass, before finishing with sweet melon and molasses H I G H S T R E N G T H, E L E G A N T A N D CHARACTERFUL: The higher ABV of this whisky concentrates the smoky and earthy aromas whilst highlighting the citrus and spice notes; it also contributes a rich, oily texture, coating the mouth and carrying more intense flavours
