Westland Potting Grit improves soil drainage by opening up compost and creating air pockets around roots when mixed into multi-purpose compost. Its clean, uniform appearance provides a decorative finish for pots, containers and rockeries, adds weight to secure pots, and helps anchor aquatic plants. It makes an excellent free-draining base for propagation and is ideal for alpine plants, ornamental succulents and cacti. Mix into a multi-purpose compost to improve drainage for plants that cannot tolerate waterlogging.
