EASY INSTALLATION - Installation is quick and easy, with instructions included. The deadlock is a surface-mounted, cross-bolt locking device which can be mounted to 1-3/8” to 2-3/8” thick, wood or metal doors. It can be installed inside or outside, on left- or right-hinged doors. INCLUDES - This door lock includes an angled strike, a rim cylinder, two keys (keyed differently), a cylinder trim ring, fasteners, a mounting plate, instructions and a tamper-resistant shutter guard. This lock requires a 1-1/4” hole and uses Segal keyway. INSTALLATION TIP - Snap-off or cut-off end sections of tailpiece as needed, if it is too long for your door. Having the tailpiece too long can negatively affect the performance of the lock.
