The 747 has an extra 1/4 legnth than a standard 5A; it doesnt sound like much but the extra length improves the power and range you can acheive. The forward weighted design thanks to its short taper produces a fron-heavy feel that combines with the oval tip for a full-bodied tone.The Nylon tip accentuates the attack adding a smack that is favouroble in recording situations and for live projection.
