Pure Encapsulations Iodine & Tyrosine Capsules 60 Capsules

Pure Encapsulations Iodine + Tyrosine 60 Capsules is a food supplement that combines iodine with the amino acid L-tyrosine in a vegetarian capsule. Iodine contributes to the normal production of thyroid hormones and normal thyroid function, and each capsule provides 225 µg of iodine (150% of the nutrient reference value). One capsule a day, taken with a meal, keeps the routine simple. **Key Features** - **Iodine as potassium iodide:** Each capsule provides 225 µg of iodine, which is 150% of the nutrient reference value (NRV). - **Added L-tyrosine:** Each capsule also contains 500 mg of free-form L-tyrosine, an amino acid. No nutrition or health claim is authorised for tyrosine, so the thyroid claim applies to the iodine only. - **One capsule a day:** The recommended intake is 1 capsule daily with a meal, so a 60 capsule pack covers 60 days. - **Vegetarian capsule:** The capsule shell is made from hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, a plant-based material. ### What does iodine do in the body
