The lid fits my pan perfectly. The only criticism, as previously mentioned, is the handle groove. It is indeed a bit too shallow, and you don't get a secure feeling when lifting the lid. But that may just be a matter of getting used to it. Hence 4*

The glass is very sturdy, though it remains to be seen over the long term – Pyrex is known for its tough glass. The weak point: the lid handle isn’t tall enough, which raises the risk of the lid slipping between your fingers, and you might even burn your fingers when grabbing it.
