The battery-powered and conveniently portable Roland CUBE Street EX has been designed from the ground up with street performers and musicians in mind. This solid stereo amplifier delivers 50 Watts of output via a pair of 8 inch woofers and two tweeters and the sound is just as clear and powerful as you'd expect from a Roland-made amp, giving you more than enough volume to be heard on a busy street packed with Saturday shoppers. But, since Roland understand that the setup won't always be the same, the power output has three different settings: Max (50 Watt), Normal (25 Watt) and Eco (10 Watt). This doesn't just mean that you can tweak the maximum volume to suit the location but that you can get maximum performance out of the battery. In Eco mode, this smart amp gives you up to 20 hours of service on just eight fresh AA batteries. Full Connectivity Equipped with an integrated mixer with four independent channels, the CUBE Street EX provides more than enough input options, no matter the setup. The two microphone and instrument channels have been fitted with combo XLR and 6.35mm jack sockets and both channels have been given a dedicated volume control, three-band tone controls, and reverb. The 6.35mm jack line-input channel can be used in mono as well as stereo and the useful audio-in channel has a standard 3.5mm mini-jack port which also supports the i-Cube LINK which, when connected, can be coupled with an iPhone or iPad for both audio playback and even recording. To finish, a standard AUX input has also been fitted around the back for connecting up mono audio sources. COSM Guitar Modelling & Effects Offering guitarists as wide a range of options as possible, the smart COSM modelling system provides Lead, Crunch, and Clean channels, giving you a solid range of foundation sounds, while the Acoustic Simulator channel completely alters the sound of an electric guitar. Round off your tone with some atmosphere courtesy of the built-in chorus, delay and reverb and you've got full and flexible, gig-ready sound. Portable & Expandable The super-lightweight Street EX can be placed on the ground, and due to the smart cabinet construction, the speaker is tilted back and pointed up for a monitor-style setup, or using the speaker stand adapter, the amp can be neatly mounted on a stand for maximum projection and spread. Via the stereo-link function, a second Street EX can be connected, giving you a powerful and complete PA with no less than eight inputs. For maximum on-the-road comfort, a made-to-measure Street EX gig bag is sold separately, boasts a water-resistant design and comes fitted with adjustable shoulder straps.
