It’s an exceptional lens, but the slow focusing can, depending on what you use it for, cause you to miss a shot. For standard use it’s excellent. The weight is excessive; you won’t want to carry it the next day after having worn it for six hours on your neck.

This lens takes great pictures and I can see how the bokeh is highly rated. What confuses me is how noise this lens is when autofocusing. Didn't the engineers consider this oddity.
