Sam Tompkins - ARE WE GONNA SING?

SAM TOMPKINS Are We Gonna Sing? (Retail Exclusive 2026 UK/EU 12-track LP pressed on Red Transparent Vinyl. Are We Gonna Sing? is Sam Tompkinss second studio album and his first full-length record written since the death of his father in late 2023. The title comes directly from an old home video heard on closing track Live Where I Dont Lose You in which Tompkinss father can be heard asking Are we gonna sing? Made with producer Humble The Great alongside Manta HARGS and Mac Jamieson the album was built through a loose live jam-led process giving it a rawer more immediate feel than his 2024 debut Hi My Name Is Insecure. Tompkins has described the record as a snapshot of the period he spent working through that loss and it includes singles Beauty Queen Body To Body and Crawling Out My Skin the latter written spontaneously at the end of a songwriting camp in Norfolk and recorded outdoors.
