Schmincke : Liquid Charcoal : 15ml : Chalk

Schmincke Liquid Charcoal offers a clean, dust-free method for artists working with charcoal. It is watersoluble, so you can adjust the values from very light to deep, rich blacks or earth colours. Liquid Charcoal can be used for thin underpainting (e.g. in oil painting). Subsequent layers of paint will not altered any more than conventional charcoal underpainting. Three of the pigments in the range are made by charring fruit seeds, which results in different hues: a neutral Peach Stone Black; a warm, brownish Cherry Pit Black; and a cool, bluish Grape Seed Black. The range also offers three Liquid Earth colours â Umber, Sanguine, and Chalk (for coloured backgrounds). These are made using natural earth pigments. All colours are vegan-friendly.
