Sela SE 053 Varios Snare Cajon - Green

While the Sela's Varios cajons serve as their entry-level models, that does not mean that they don't sound fantastic. This model, the SE-053 Varios Green has a 15mm-thick body made of 11 plies of birch, allowing for a highly durable construction and powerful bass. Its frontplate, meanwhile, is beautifully finished with a gorgeous green-coloured poplar veneer. Varios SE-053: adjustable snare wires The SE-053 is a snare cajon, which means you'll find a set of snare wires mounted behind the frontplate. However, Sela mounted these snare wires to a removable wooden base, so you can quickly switch to a snareless Peruvian cajon sound. Alternatively, it's also possible to mount an additional set of snare wires, adding even more bite to the cajon's sound. In short, the Sela SE053 Varios Green is an excellent cajon that should appeal to beginners and advanced players alike.
