SHIMANO Disc Brake Deore XT BL-M8200+BR-M8220, VR

The Shimano Deore XT M8200 4-piston front left hydraulic disc brake has been refined with evolved ergonomics and the human hand in mind, providing powerful traction with consistent lever feel and modulation for ultimate control. A new closer pivot point follows the natural arc of the finger, while reach adjustment places the rider in a natural position to tackle technical trail sections. The new SERVO WAVE design optimises the power curve and manages pad-rotor friction throughout the lever stroke for more balanced braking, while Shimano's new low-viscosity mineral oil maintains consistent power over a wide temperature range. The BR-M8220 four-piston, two-piece calliper is the most robust in the M8200 family, built to maximise power, consistency, and control. The new low-viscosity oil keeps the M8220 brakes' bite point consistent in all weather and track conditions, and the new brake pads eliminate rattling noise caused by vibrations.
