The Shimano XTR 9120 front brake lever has been redesigned with a new type of retaining clamp and relocated body. The clamp is located in the center of the body of the lever and the edge is ably supported against the handlebar to create a more rigid brake with a sense of direct contact and much better control. In this 4-piston option, specially designed for the discipline of Enduro, it has a specific brake lever and includes the function of adjusting the travel of the lever without the need for tools together with the Servo Wave technology from Shimano. This technology provides an initial travel of the fast pickup, so that little movement of the lever is needed to put the pads in contact with the rotor, a power multiplication factor intervenes, which means that a greater part of the travel of the lever is used to apply greater braking power with improved control.
