Meanwhile, the sole is made from a mixture of carbon and nylon fibres to harness power and move it efficiently to the pedals, while also being flexible enough to let you walk tough stretches of the trail. Its replaceable inserts offer the highest level of grip, both on and off the bike, and it is shaped to prevent any constriction of the blood flow that could cool your foot. Your foot is held in place within the shoe by the Firmor lateral support band, which stabilises the ankle, an anatomic heel cup and a durable, flexible Ripstop over that resists scratches and seals water out.
