The shell is reinforced at the heel and toe to delay wear and protect the most exposed areas of the foot from stone impacts and rubbing. The MTB SR17 sole, made of nylon with polyurethane reinforcements, is very light, rigid and resistant to effectively transmit power with every pedal stroke. Polyurethane reinforcements contribute to a good grip and to the dispersion of mud and dirt. The lace-up closure suits the preferences of those riders who prefer a more classic fitting system.
