Because they are blended, these premium short handle brushes possess the durability and spring of a synthetic brush, and the colour holding capacity of a squirrel mop, making them a great choice for the watercolourist. The squirrel hair gives Black Velvet a full belly that holds a maximum amount of colour so you donât have to reload the brush as often, while the synthetic hair provides a snap that ensures the brush will come to an extremely fine point.
