Simply Cycling 27.5 Inch x 1.5 Inner Tube with Presta Valve

Simply Cycling CC006 Inner Tube, 27.5 Inch, Presta ValveTwenty seven and a half inch, also known as 650b, is most associated with mountain bikes, though increasingly fitted to hybrids, commuters and gravel bikes. This tube is the 1.5 width, which suits the narrower tyres those bikes run rather than the wide tyres fitted to a trail mountain bike. Simply Cycling Inner Tube is made from butyl rubber and air leakage tested, so it holds pressure between rides.Which valve do I need? This is the Presta version, and on a 27.5 bike that is worth checking carefully. Presta is the narrower valve, with a screw-down top and a locknut, sometimes called a French valve. But many 27.5 hybrid and commuter bikes are still built with Schrader rims, so the valve is not a safe assumption at this wheel size either. The way to check is to look at the old tube or the hole in the rim. A Presta valve is narrower, around 6mm, with a small nut on top that unscrews to let air in. A Schrader valve is wider, about 8mm
