SIP 01940 14" x 43" Swivel Head Wood Lathe

The SIP 14" x 43" Swivel Head Wood Lathe is an ideal solution for those seeking a robust and adaptable lathe for woodturning. Crucial to a functioning workshop, this machine tool allows a woodturner to accurately shape, turn, drill and sand workpieces to the desired specification. For added functionality, a 360 swivel headstock with four locking positions is fitted to allow outboard turning of larger wood materials. Heavy-duty cast iron legs are fitted to the lathe to maximise stability during this process. The lathe bed, headstock and tailstock are also manufactured to a professional finish from heavy-duty cast iron. The headstock has an MT1 taper and tailstock an MT2 taper alongside a variable speed motor which runs between 500rpm and 2000rpm.
