LONDON DRY GIN… Being the flagship from Dark Art Distillery, this gin gathers inspiration from the nearby Galloway Forest Park, where visitors can witness over 7000 stars on a clear night. Inspired by the crystal clear night skies above the park with its ever-changing ribbons of colour, this luxurious gin was born. FRESH INGREDIENTS… This smooth Scottish gin is made using a blend of 18 different botanicals, including orange peel, grapefruit peel, calamint, lavender, and coriander seeds - as well as 3 gin botanicals which give a nod to the night as they either bloom or scent when it’s late in the day. TASTING NOTES… A classic London Gin profile, our flagship gin is well balanced with piney juniper, a hint of citrus and crisp, fresh notes. On the palate, you’ll be greeted by light floral notes with a touch of warming spice and delicate menthol. SERVING RECOMMENDATION… For the best gin and tonic mix, we highly recommend serving Sky Garden Gin over plenty of ice with a quality Mediterranean tonic water - this will release the herby, menthol notes. Don’t forget to garnish accordingly and accompany with a generous slice of lime! MEET THE MAKER… Based in the town of Kirkcudbright in the Southwest of Scotland, Dark Art Distillery was officially launched by Andrew Clark Hutchison in July 2021. The name was inspired by its heritage from both the region, Galloway, and the town, Kirkcudbright. ‘Dark’ specifically refers to the first dark sky park in Western Europe, Galloway Forest Park, along with the ‘Art’ specifically referring to Kirkcudbright as it’s known as ‘The Artists Town’.
