The handle is well made, but it doesn't fit the A1 as described, it has about 1mm of play on the handle side. It squeaks, and ergonomically it's absolutely catastrophic, as it feels like you can't firmly grip the camera.

I bought it for my Sony Alpha 7 IV (4). It fits snugly, doesn't wobble. The grip works very well, BUT the second battery isn't displayed. This handle doesn't fit the A7iv, as it doesn't sit flush with the camera body. It wobbles and sometimes the camera gets no power at all.
