SPAX 604401Universal Screw 3 x 16mm T-Star Plus Steel Black BLAX 200pc - SPAX 1191040450603, The SPAX-typical T-STAR plus drive is a so-called Torx socket. This shape increases the attack surface in our T-STAR plus, and the T-STAR plus bits fit optimally in the screw head. The best possible power transfer from screwdriver to screw by T-STAR plus enables a fast working, and much more efficient than with all other drives. In contrast to the partial thread, the full thread extends over the entire length of the screw. The more threads a screw has, the greater the tensile and compressive forces that can be deflected from screw to wood via it. Our threaded screws are used mainly for high-strength wood joints.
