Specific Heart andamp; Kidney Support is a complete food dogs with heart and kidney problems. It has been specially formulated to be fed to dogs with heart failure (with concurrent kidney failure), hypertension, oedema, chronic renal insufficiency, hepatic insufficiency (except patients with cholestasis), urate, oxalate or cystine urolithiasis. This food contains high levels of Omega-3 fatty acids which help to slow down kidney failure. EPA will help dogs with heart disease as it helps to counteract cachexia, improves arrhythmia and reduces hypertension and platelet aggregation. The food also has reduced sodium levels which will help to prevent water retention, which is dangerous for dogs with heart, kidney or liver problems.
