Made from white zinc-plated carbon steel, this T-nut forms a lasting, reusable metric thread inside wood, plywood, MDF, particleboard and similar wood-based panels. Four sharp prongs on the underside dig into the material as the nut beds in, stopping it turning so the mating bolt can be tightened and loosened again and again without spinning free. The flanged collar sits flush with the timber surface once fitted, leaving a smooth finish with nothing standing proud. The internal metric thread runs the full depth of the barrel, so the bolt engages along its entire length rather than just at the surface. Offered in five sizes, M4 through to M8, with barrel lengths between 8.0mm and 15.0mm for different panel thicknesses.
