SS8 Nyloc Lock Nuts M16, Nylon Insert, DIN 985 Zinc Plated, Pack of 50 | Self-locking hexagon steel body, resists vibration and dynamic loads, no spring washer needed

Manufactured to DIN 985 (equivalent to ISO 7040/UNI 7473), the standard for low/thin-type prevailing-torque hexagon lock nuts. Integral nylon insert collar creates a prevailing-torque lock that resists loosening from vibration and repeated movement, without needing a separate lock washer. Zinc-plated steel hexagon body for general-purpose corrosion resistance, suitable for indoor and outdoor fixings. Reusable several times without damaging the bolt thread, unlike a fully deformed all-metal lock nut, which typically loses most of its locking action after a single removal. Nylon insert rated for approximately -40C to +120C before softening; supplied across a full range from M3 to M24.
