Very well constructed but tiny. I didn’t realize it would be so small which makes it difficult to use while cooking. It gets very hot! Since receiving the pot I constantly get emails from Germany.

I’m writing my review after several months of use. There is a design flaw on Staub’s part: water stagnates between the lid and the cast‑iron plate because the edges are flat. I use this mainly to caramelise onions and make chutneys and for that it works very good. It is too small to cook meals in it, but that in it self is not a product shortcoming. It also looks very nice and has a nice quality feel to it.
