ADVENTURE GAME: Explore the Central American jungles in search of lost temples and the treasures within. Players send their team of explorers into the jungle, exposing more and more of the terrain. Along the way, you find temples that require further uncovering and treasures. STRATEGY BOARD GAME: Tikal is a deeply strategic game of tile laying and territory control with a mechanics of action points that are intuitive and easy to take in hands. DISCOVER LOST TEMPLES AND TREASURES: When players find a temple, they can excavate it in order to make it worth more points. But beware, as this also makes the temple more interesting to other players, who can try to take over your temple. Players can also collect treasures and maximize points through means of a set collection system. CHALLENGING AND COMPETITIVE: Players have a number of action points they can use each turn to accomplish their goals. Players attempt to score points for occupying temples and holding onto treasure. When the last tile is layed out on the board, whoever has the most points wins the game!
