STRONG METAL GROUND PROBE: Use the Mighty Probe to safety scope an area for construction or for finding septic tanks or gas lines. Use the probe and your body weight to penetrate up to 106cm (42”) underground. The handle is made of 1” x 11" solid steel. The 9.5mm (3/8”) diameter rod is resistant to bowing and bending while the pointed metal tip creates a clearance hole for the rod. This aids its insertion into hard or frozen ground. It can also be used to accurately probe beneath laid outdoor tiles. INSULATED FOR SAFETY AGAINST ELECTRICITY: Unlike standard probes, the Mighty Probe handle is a 15.2cm (6”) insulated isolator. This is of large importance as it increases protection from electrocution by underground power lines. An independent testing laboratory tested the Mighty Probe to 50,000 volts and it has also been tested by the commercial laboratory services of a major utility company for both dry and 48-hour water soaks up to 45,000 volts, ensuring protection against electric shocks. FIND SEPTIC TANKS: The Mighty Probe is useful for locating hard-to-find underneath structures such as underground septic tanks which are common in rural locations. When living or working at an off-mains property, this ground probe enables you to locate the septic tank to check the state of the tank and for regular maintenance.
