Tama SLP 14 x 8 Big Black Steel Snare Drum

Bought first acoustic drum for my son. Sounds great. Comes with both plastics and snare wires. Drum key too. Would advise to buy a damper.

This is a beautiful snare drum with good features at a more reasonable price than most that compare. Tried 1-ply and 2-ply coated Evans heads and the "Mighty Hoops" won't take the strain of trying to crank it beyond a certain medium-low tuning.
