Tempest Original 50 Turnout Rug Blue - 6'6"

Perfect for mild, wet spring and autumn conditions, the Tempest Original 50g Turnout Rug offers light insulation that helps bridge the gap between no-fill and mediumweight rugs. The 50g polyfill provides gentle warmth while remaining suitable for changing seasonal temperatures. Designed to help manage condensation and temperature fluctuations, the lightweight filling creates a buffer between the waterproof outer and inner lining, helping improve comfort during humid weather conditions when moisture build-up can be a concern. Durable waterproof protection for everyday turnout, featuring a hardwearing 600 denier ripstop outer with a 3000mm waterproof rating. Taped seams and ShireTex fabric technology work together to keep ponies dry during wet weather. Breathable and weather-resistant performance, with a 3000g/m² breathability rating that helps excess heat and moisture escape. The Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish encourages rain to bead and roll off the surface, while the PFC-free treatment offers a more environmentally conscious solution. Secure, comfortable fit with added versatility, featuring adjustable buckle chest straps, adjustable cross surcingles, a fillet strap, and a protective tail flap to keep the rug securely positioned. Compatible with Shires WarmaRug 100g and 200g liners, allowing additional warmth to be added as temperatures drop.
