METALWORKING TOOL: This jig is great for jewelry makers, metalsmiths and wire workers. In addition, this vise can be used to hold ring shanks, to file a flat spot, as well as opening jump rings. You can secure a larger ring on the vise and use that gap to open the jump rings. EASY TO USE: File on the larger flat edge. Insert your metal into either slot, with the flat side against the peg.
