Blue Chip: Top Speed is reduced but will give you more power for hauling more people around or pulling trailers and Etc, also you will get the full on effect of the electronic braking. Yellow Chip: Gives alittle more top speed and little less of power on the slower end, also a little less of the full on effect of the electronic braking. Red Chip: Fastest top speed with no effect of the electronic braking and even lesser power on the low end. Compatible with EZGO PDS (Precision Drive System) 2000-up. The PDS carts have a controller with a plug chip slot. Check to see if your forward and reverse control is a switch on the dash. If the forward and reverse is controlled by a lever under the seat then your cart is NOT a PDS and these chips will not work with your cart.
