The Macallan 30 Year Fine Oak Whisky 70cl

This one's a bit special. Russell Greig, The Macallan's Whisky Maker and a self-confessed Bond fanatic, has crafted a release that celebrates the long-standing relationship between The Macallan and everyone's favourite fictional spy, building on the brilliant Six Decades of Bond Collection back in 2022. Distilled in 2007 (yes, 2-007, very deliberate), the American oak casks are a nod to the film's American setting, whilst the whisky's natural colour beautifully echoes the Aztec sandstone of that iconic Nevada desert scene. And if you know your Bond films, you'll know that in Diamonds Are Forever he's quite the sherry aficionado, so The Macallan's bespoke hybrid red wine and sherry seasoned oak casks were really the only choice, weren't they? At 45.5% ABV, it's almost as smooth as the man himself.
